This document establishes the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy applicable to the use of the application. By using Caregiver IVO, you agree to the terms and conditions described herein. If you disagree with any part, do not use the application. Continued use implies full acceptance of this Term.

1. Scope and Purpose of the Application

Caregiver IVO is a free digital tool to support patients who require special care. It allows caregivers and family members to record and monitor routines and tasks, with the data accessible to all users connected to the patient.

2. Registration and Access

Registration is done with a Google or Apple account.
Name and email are collected solely for authentication and cannot be modified.
Each user has non-transferable access to their account.

3. Collection and Use of Personal Data

Collected Information:

Name and email for authentication.
Patient data (name, tasks, routines) shared with connected caregivers and family members.

Use of Data:

Monitor application usage and improve user experience.
Send notifications and reminders.
Conduct anonymous statistics on the platform.

Caregiver IVO does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Data Security and Storage

Data is stored on secure servers protected by measures such as encryption and firewalls. Although we adopt modern security practices, no system is completely immune to failures. The user is responsible for keeping the device protected against malware.

5. Data Retention After User Disconnection

When a user is no longer connected to a patient, the actions taken remain linked to the email registered at that time.
Complete deletion of these actions is not possible to preserve the integrity of the patient's history.
Critical events, such as low blood sugar or high blood pressure, need to be maintained for safety and monitoring.

6. Automatic Removal of Inactive Patients

Patients without entries for more than 2 months will be automatically removed to optimize the platform.
Deletion is irreversible and affects all data associated with the patient.
Keep records updated to avoid automatic deletions.

7. How Can I Use the Service?

Caregiver IVO is intended for personal and non-commercial use only.
Users must provide accurate information and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Selling, copying, distributing, or modifying the content of the service without authorization is not permitted.
Caregiver IVO is not responsible for security failures caused by modified devices (root or jailbreak).

8. What Does Caregiver IVO Not Offer?

Medical advice: the app is only an auxiliary tool. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical decisions.
Technical support: there is no formal obligation to provide support, but we will strive to resolve issues and improve the experience.

9. What is Expected of Me as a User?

Do not interfere with the functioning of the application or disable security measures.
Do not use the service for illegal purposes or in violation of third-party rights.
Do not publish offensive, false, or misleading content, at the risk of sanctions.

10. Sharing of Information

Patient data can be viewed by all connected caregivers and family members. Misuse of information is the user's responsibility, not Caregiver IVO's.

11. Links to External Services and Content

Caregiver IVO may provide links to external services, such as the Safe Bed Guide and telemedicine services. By accessing these services, the user acknowledges that:

External services have their own privacy policies and terms of use.
Caregiver IVO is not responsible for the content or practices of these services.
Integration aims to provide useful resources to caregivers and family members.

12. Modifications to the Terms and Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Users will be notified via the application or email. Continued use implies acceptance of the changes.

13. Termination

Caregiver IVO reserves the right to terminate user access in case of violations of these terms or illegal behavior.
In case of termination, all user data will be deleted permanently.

14. Legal Provisions

The application and these terms are governed by Brazilian law. Disputes will be resolved in the court of the user's domicile.

15. User Rights

The user can request the deletion of their data via email contato@cuidador.net.br.
The deletion is irreversible and must be completed within 15 business days after confirmation.
The user can access their personal data at any time.
The user can contest the collection and use of their data, according to the General Data Protection Law.
